PIPPA PASSES, Ky. — A man was arrested for burglary and other charges after getting stuck inside the walls of a Knott County apartment. Police were called to Caney Creek Apartments, in Pippa Passes, by a woman who reported that 30-year-old Johnathan Crawford was outside her apartment, threatening her with a table leg and scaring nearby children. When state troopers arrived, the woman told them that Crawford had climbed into the attic and was refusing to come out. The Phelps Hornets picked up a big road win Monday night, defeating the Magoffin County Hornets 85-76. Phelps had two players finish in double figures, led by an incredible performance from Tyler Weddington. Weddington posted a dominant double-double with 40 points and 20 rebounds — video game-type numbers that powered Phelps to the win.
