PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Texas man has been arrested for assault, after allegedly hitting his wife over the head with a beer bottle. Police were called to Pikeville Commons after Pikeville Fire and EMS discovered an unconscious woman lying in the rear parking lot of the apartment complex. The woman was described as having a large knot and several cuts on her head. LEXINGTON, Ky. — A Huntington, W.Va., man has been sentenced to five years in prison, after he admitted transporting fentanyl to Pike County to deliver to a buyer.  Donte Hendricks, 30, pleaded guilty to possession of more than 40 grams of fentanyl with the intent to distribute.  The case arose out of a traffic stop last year.
