BELFRY, Ky. — A Pike County man is facing up to 10 years in prison, after he was arrested for striking another man with his car Sunday night. Police were initially called to a report of two neighbors — Robert Blankenship Sr. and Ethan Marcum — fighting in the middle of Big Creek Road at Belfry, following a disagreement about the location of a property line. LEXINGTON, Ky. — The case against two out-of-state men whose high-speed attempt to flee police ended with them facing federal drug charges is closed, after the final defendant was sentenced Friday. Ahmad Marques Moore, 27, of Akron, Ohio, and Dean Michael Blair, 25, of Snellville, Ga., led police on a chase reaching speeds of 120 mph through Floyd and Pike counties on June 20, 2024.
