PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — A Prestonsburg man and woman were arrested after police say they were raising their children in ‘deplorable’ conditions. Prestonsburg Elementary School Resource Officer Chris Hicks and Prestonsburg Police Det. Dennis Hutchison responded Tuesday to a report of an 8-year-old student who showed up at school with injuries which he said were caused by a dog at home. FRANKFORT, Ky. — An online auction to sell surplus equipment from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources began Tuesday. Hosted by The Logsdon Group, the auction runs through 10 a.m. (ET) on Friday, Sept. 11, and features nearly 40 surplus items, including trucks, tractors, mowers and other maintenance equipment.
